Product specs drift: generations change, old numbers get copied between sites, and listings outlive the hardware they described. When current primary data conflicts with what is circulating, we document it here with sources and a verification date. Each entry links the review where the full spec check lives.
Kahuna Chair LM-6800T · Warranty structure · verified August 20, 2026Current primary value: Two years of full parts and labor with on-site repair, per the LM-6800T warranty certificate, conditional on registering within one month of delivery. Still circulating: A straight downgrade from the family three-year warranty, as widely repeated and as our own earlier review put it. The headline number went down while real coverage in years one and two went up. We had this wrong in our first review and have corrected it. The condition that actually costs owners money is the 30-day registration deadline, which voids everything if missed.
Kahuna Chair LM-6800T · Roller capability behind the 3D+ badge · verified August 20, 2026Current primary value: Four rollers on an SL track with position, width and six speed settings; the 22-page official manual documents no depth adjustment anywhere. Still circulating: A 3D+ label in the product title, escalated to 3D and 4D language in some marketplace copy. Judge this chair as a good quad-roller SL track and ignore the plus sign. Nothing in the maker own documentation supports adjustable roller depth.
Kahuna Chair LM-6800T · User weight and height rating · verified August 20, 2026Current primary value: No model-specific rating exists. The only official figures are a series-wide footnote recommending 5 feet to 6 feet 2 inches and up to 220 pounds, plus FAQ statements. Still circulating: Third-party review figures that run considerably higher, including 285 pounds with a 5 foot to 6 foot 4 range, alongside live listings that publish no capacity at all. Shop against the series footnote, not the dealer numbers, and treat 6 feet 2 inches as a real ceiling. A 6-foot-5 owner reported the upper airbags could not reach him.

Still circulating: 12 auto programs, as the main live dealer specification table states. The chair has 24. If a listing says 12, it is describing the previous generation.

Still circulating: 400 lb and 440 lb claims from the fixed-roller era. Shop against 240 pounds. Still circulating: 8 fixed rollers with no track (PLUS era) or a dual-core S-track (ADV era), as described in older reviews that still rank in search. Any review describing fixed massage nodes is about a chair you can no longer buy new.
